Somehow and someway, college football was wild enough during the final two weeks of the regular season to place the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in El Paso, Texas, during the bowl season. Notre Dame will take on the Oregon State Beavers in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl on December 29.
Because this bowl game is considered “less than” by — well a lot of people — there will be a large number of opt outs on both sides to go along with the already large number of players that won’t be there due to the transfer portal. Oregon State, for example, will be without its starting left tackle, starting quarterback, and backup quarterback (just to name a few).
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Notre Dame opens up as a 10.5 point favorite over Oregon State with an over/under of 45.5.
We are still waiting to hear about more portal entries and bowl opt outs from both sides, so I guess we will have to wait and see how this line moves over the next few weeks.
