TRANSFER PORTAL: Arizona State defensive back Jordan Clark commits to Notre Dame

Adding a veteran to the secondary

NCAA Football: Arizona State at Arizona Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

While we’ve seen player after player announce their departure from Notre Dame via the transfer portal over the last week, the Irish have landed a commitment from the portal on Monday. Jordan Clark, a defensive back in the transfer portal from the Arizona State Sun Devils, made his decision to commit to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Clark is the son of former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back, Ryan Clark. Over the past two seasons, Jordan has accumulated 97 tackles, 15 pass breakups, and 3 interceptions.

Notre Dame was in the market for a quality defensive back to add to what should be one of the better secondarys in all of college football next year — and they think they really nailed it with Jordan Clark.

Welcome to Notre Dame Jordan!

While we will keep updating the scholarship chart throughout transfer portal season and signing day season — it’s merely a guideline. Do not get overwhelmed with the overall numbers, and instead, focus on the position groups and the numbers there.
