The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are hitting the transfer portal hard this offseason in an effort to create the best possible roster for the 2024 season. One of the positions that the Irish have really concentrated hard on this time around is at the wide receiver position. On Sunday, the Irish got one of their main targets when Clemson Tigers WR Beaux Collins committed to Notre Dame.

Beaux Collins was a big high school recruiting target for the Irish when the 6’3” 210 pounder was tearing up southern California. He eventually chose to play for Dabo at Clemson and has caught 91 passes for 1290 yards and 11 touchdowns over the last three years.
Collins joins former FIU WR Kris Mitchell as newcomers to the Irish wide receiver room in 2024 — a room that was almost desperate in its need for productive collegiate football players to work with next season. Both Mitchell and Collins have one year of eligibility remaining.
Notre Dame would still like to add one more WR from the portal.
Notre Dame fans are still anxiously awaiting official news about Duke Blue Devils QB Riley Leonard — which could be in just a matter of hours or days (one way or another).
