It’s transfer portal season for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the rest of college football. There will be many, many names that enter the portal, and the Irish won’t be immune to a large handful of players seeking a chance to play elsewhere. On Monday evening, Notre Dame offensive lineman Zeke Correll announced that was entering the transfer portal with one year of eligibility remaining.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for walking with me on this journey. Thank you to my teammate to have gone to battle with me in about the Notre Dame standard. The people are what make this place special and my last five years here have been nothing short of a blessing.”
“That being said, I am looking for a new opportunity in my final season of eligibility, and I’m entering my name in the transfer portal.”
Correll was a big-time recruit out of Cincinnati, Ohio, and enrolled at Notre Dame in 2019. He filled in admirably at center for an injured Jarrett Patterson in 2020, and has since been a starter at both guard and center. Correll was unable to play in the final two games of the season due to a concussion.
Good luck to Zeke wherever he may land.
