Notre Dame and NBC have been partnered since the 1991 season. Any thoughts or predictions that Notre Dame would move to another network was an exercise in futility. Notre Dame loves their deal with NBC and the same can be said about NBC.
Obviously with the addition of the Big 10, NBC is creating a bigger portfolio in the college football world, which is projected to be a better overall situation for Notre Dame.
Besides the Notre Dame home football games, NBC and Peacock will carry the spring Blue-Gold Game and Notre Dame’s Pro Day. Peacock will also continue to carry many of the Notre Dame hockey games moving forward just as they have over the past several years.
We have been waiting on confirmation of this deal, and Notre Dame dropped this in our laps about 30 minutes before kickoff — in what will be Jack Swarbrick’s last home game as the Irish Athletic Director.
