It was their first win over a Top 5 opponent since 2019. Maya Dodson rocked with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Olivia Miles and Sam Brunelle chipped in 13 and 10 points, respectively. NC State had a couple of three point shot attempts in the closing seconds, but couldn't convert. It was nerve-wracking to watch.
