The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are 3-0 and heading down the track to Chicago to take on the Wisconsin Badgers this week in an “away game” Shamrock Series. The Badgers are 1-1, after a loss the in first week against Penn State and a win over Eastern Michigan in the next game. Much like the rest of Notre Dame’s remaining schedule... the Badgers will be coming off of a bye.
The Irish released their early week depth chart on Monday.

There was only one small change this week on the depth chart. Michael Carmody was listed last week as the starter, but Tosh Baker got the nod due to Carmody’s injury. After a fair performance from Baker, the two tackles have an “OR” between their name. Baker will likely get the nod again on Saturday with Carmody being available if needed. Once again running back C’Bo Flemister will not be available, and Notre Dame has not used either Audric Estime or Logan Diggs in his stead.

No changes here from last week. Linebacker Prince Kollie was listed on the depth chart for the past two weeks, but COVID kept him out of the lineup. Kollie is ready to go this week — although I would caution against believing that he will see much time on defense. Notre Dame used a heavy rotation along the defensive line last week against Purdue, so this depth chart looks more like a pecking order.

It’s highly unlikely that this depth chart will change over the season, unless we see an injury or two.
