The Notre Dame Fighting Irish welcome the Purdue Boilermakers back to South Bend for the ancient clash for the Shillelagh Trophy. On Monday, Notre Dame released their depth chart for the week.

It’s almost the exact depth chart that we got late last week when the Irish made some changes due to injuries and the departure of Lawrence Keys.

OFFENSE

Depth Chart — OFFENSE

QB RB WR WR WR TE LT LG C RG RT
QB RB WR WR WR TE LT LG C RG RT
#17 Jack Coan #22 Logan Diggs #4 Kevin Austin #21 Lorenzo Styles #0 Braden Lenzy #87 Michael Mayer #76 Joe Alt #73 Andrew Kristofic #55 Jarrett Patterson #62 Cain Madden #54 Blake Fisher
#10 Drew Pyne OR #25 Chris Tyree #16 Deion Colzie #29 Matt Salerno #83 Jayden Thomas #85 George Takacs #79 Tosh Baker #52 Zeke Correll #78 Pat Coogan #56 John Dirksen #77 Quinn Carroll
OR #12 Tyler Buchner - - - - #88 Mitchell Evans - #50 Rocco Spindler - - -

You ready for this... Jack Coan is still the starter at quarterback. As far as who is protecting him, the depth chart still lists Michael Carmody as the starter at LT, and I’m not sure of the exact update to his injury at the moment. Tosh Baker came into the game in place of Carmody, and if you’re looking for the next guy after him... good luck as the Irish already lost the season starter in Blake Fisher for at least another 6 weeks. Brian Kelly did say they would likely move to a rotation inside, which likely means playing time for freshman Rocco Spindler. Freshmen wide receiver’s Deion Colzie and Lorenzo Styles got some snaps last week, and both pulled in one catch. Running back C’Bo Flemister is still out this week.

#48 Will Schweitzer OR #56 Howard Cross #54 Jacob Lacey OR #90 Alexander Ehrensberger - - #12 Jordan Botelho - - - -

One giant change this week is that VYPER Jordan Botelho will now be available after missing the first two games of the season. Freshman Prince Kollie was moved up on the depth chart last week, but was unavailable for the game — and he will be unavailable this week as well — so I’m not sure why he’s still on the depth chart.
