Welcome to August my beautiful friends. It’s a time for celebration as we kick off fall camp for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at the end of the week, which means the season is right there in front of us. While last few weeks have been fairly quiet on the non-realignment front, that’s all going to change soon enough. Let’s warm up with a triple option...
CROOTIN!
There’s a new recruiting service on the market. On3 is from the creator of both Rivals and 247, although their recruiting model feels more like ESPN’s if ESPN actually knew what they were doing. They released their Top 300 players for 2022 and there is plenty of Notre Dame representation on the list.
32. Joey Tanona OL
49. Jaylen Snead LB
109. Joshua Burnham LB
110. Tyson Ford DE
117. Devin Moore CB
151. Holden Staes TE
157. Aiden Gobaira DE
171. Ashton Craig OL
197. Jayden Mickey CB
215. Eli Raridon TE
285. Nolan Ziegler LB
297. Benjamin Morrison CB
Twelve commitments in the top 300 is pretty impressive, but the Irish recruiting effort can still add a handful more to their list. Other Irish prospects in the top 300 that they are still in the mix are:
14. Anthony Lucas DL
39. Zach Rice OL
45. Cyrus Moss DE
60. Xavier Nwankpa S
91. Hero Kanu DT
111. Aamil Wagner OL
127. Billy Schrauth OL
155. Tobias Merriweather WR
217. Major Everhart ATH
NOW OR NEVER
Our friends Greg and Frank over at UHND talked about which players on on a make a break season. Give it a listen.
New Pod Alert Notre Dame has a lot of upperclassmen facing make or break points in their careers in 2021. We break down a lot of them on this week's pod including Houston Griffith, Jayson Ademilola, all the senior WRs, Josh Lugg, and Shayne Simon. https://t.co/Fa6XvsVtQi
