The South Bend Regional consists of the Irish, CMU, Michigan Wolverines, and UConn Huskies. It’s a double elimination regional, which means a team has to lose twice before being outed from the tournament.
The Irish are the #10 overall seed in the tournament, and have a decent chance of hosting a Super Regional should they make it out of this regional as the winner.
