Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.
Now that the NFL Draft is behind us, it’s time to come to the realization that some of your favorite Notre Dame football players are about to become enemies of your favorite NFL team. At the same time, some of your most hated rivals might also be heading to play for your favorite NFL team.
It’s a crazy time for football fans — and sometimes you have to let your emotions go (and sometimes not). It creates all sorts of questions about your fan loyalty. Do you become of a fan of the NFL team that drafts your favorite players?

68% of the NCAA fans polled said, “NO” they don’t automatically become a fan of that team. For example... the Detroit Lions took a large handful of players from Notre Dame over the last few years — so if you’re a fan of the Chicago Bears or Green Bay Packers, how in the world do you root for the Lions?
For Notre Dame fans, that line got blurred a bit when asked this question:

It’s definitely not the same thing, but 56% of Irish fans are very interested in — and invested in — how these former Notre Dame players perform in the NFL, and really aren’t looking to become a fan of some former Trojan.
Speaking of the NFL Draft... while we watched the insane snub of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, there were NFL teams that passed on him — but took a reach on others. So, who was the biggest reach in the draft?

What’s interesting here, is that both Alex Leatherwood (Las Vegas Raiders) and Jamin Davis (Washington Football Team) went to teams that a lot of mock drafts had JOK going to in the first round.
More interesting still, is SBN’s choice of NOT including Wu as one of the biggest steals in the draft — go figure.
