While March Madness rages on for many, it’s still PRIME NFL Draft season in the sports world. Starting on April 29, and concluding on May 1 in Cleveland, Ohio, the 32 NFL teams will begin to select college players from all over the country and from every level in the NCAA. This, of course, means that fans of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be dialed in to see which of their favorite players land on their favorite NFL Teams.

Maybe one of those teams is the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Irish have sent a number of good players to the Steel City over the years, and most recently saw Chase Claypool do very well in his rookie year.

I sat down with Michael Beck, Bryan Anthony Davis, and Geoffrey Benedict with SB Nation’s Steelers site, Behind the Steel Curtain, to talk about a handful of Irish players that they are curious about in this draft. A few of those players include; OT Liam Eichenberg, TE Tommy Tremble, QB Ian Book, OL Robert Hainsey, LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and others.

Sadly I forgot to mention Ben Skowronek’s dominance at Heinz Field and I feel terrible about it.

One small note... While this is a podcast found in the usual places, they also live streamed it on YouTube and Facebook. Funny enough — I did NOT know there would be video involved until right before recording — so I look like an angel straight from heaven in my laundry room/office.
