On Saturday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will welcome the Navy Midshipmen back to South Bend for what will be the 94th meeting between these two football programs. It’s November in the Great Lakes region, so the weather could be all over the place — but not this weekend.

Notre Dame and Navy will be a 3:30 kickoff this week, which is likely due to the time change coming later that night when Daylight Savings time comes to an end. So... there will be one extra hour of tailgating, which can really make a difference for those out there trying to meet up with friends scattered throughout the lots.
You’ll likely need to “gear up” during the morning hours of tailgating, but as temperatures rise and the sun stays out all day, that nostalgic “football feel” will hit right before everyone starts to enter the stadium.

As far as the game is concerned, the weather will stay mild and the skies will be clear throughout the three hours of play.

As far as November is concerned in South Bend, this is a perfect day for football.
