GAME THREAD: #11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish VS North Carolina Tar Heels

It’s PROVE IT time for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish as they welcome the North Carolina Tar Heels to the bright lights of Notre Dame Stadium. Regardless of how you feel about Notre Dame’s chances for the college football playoff — there is still at the very least a chance. A win on Saturday will likely mean a top 8 ranking when the first college football playoff rankings are released on Tuesday... so just have fun with it while you have the chance.

We all witnessed some new things last week in a prime time win over USC. The lights, up-tempo offense, and a comfortable win (new to 2021). Can the Irish build upon all of that with another home night game on the schedule?

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Irish have held pretty steady all week long as a 3.5 point favorite with an over/under of 62.5. My prediction this week was 38-27 Irish, so that’s another for the Irish to cover while smashing that over button.
