We have entered the bye week for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, so it’s probably a good time to start tracking the postseason bowl game possibilities. At 5-1, the Irish still have a great chance of finishing 11-1 on the year. While that probably won’t be good enough for the college football playoff, it should be good enough for a New Years Six game. Even at 10-2, Notre Dame can still be in a NY6 game given the right circumstances.

Let’s take a look.

In case you were wondering... the Cheez-It Bowl used to be the Camping World Bowl which used to be the Champs Sports Bowl — not that any of it matters, but there you go.
