Bagpipe Monday: What are your home tailgate plans for the Notre Dame football season?

The weekly poll and pipes are out of quarantine

CORONAVIRUS CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP BAGPIPE MONDAY Y’ALL! It’s back, because the college football season is back for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. But, obviously, things are going to be vastly different than any year we’ve seen before.

So how’s that going to work?

I realize that a large majority of fans won’t be affected by the Notre Dame Stadium attendance policy as they did not plan on going to the games, but that doesn’t mean things won’t be different elsewhere. Depending on where you live, running down to a “game watch” at your favorite Notre Dame bar may be more of a hassle and a letdown than what it’s worth, and (if you’re being responsible) that big party with the huge outdoor screen isn’t happening either (shout out to Wes).

And those are just a few of the more general options.

We are now officially on a bye week of sorts with game week rapidly approaching. As of writing this we still don’t know what the kickoff times will be for Notre Dame, but at least we have a schedule. With that in hand... what are you planning?
