The ACC Tournament starts today with the first round matchups in Greensboro. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Pittsburgh Panthers are up first at 4:30 PM EST (about the time this gets published) and then the Virginia Tech Hokies take on the North Carolina Tar Heels around 7:00 PM EST.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will face the Boston College Eagles at 7:00PM EST on Wednesday.

In the widget below, you will find our staff picks for the tournament. Click on each staff member to see our full bracket prediction for the tournament.

This doesn’t need repeating — but I’ll do it anyways — Notre Dame has to win the tourney to get a bid to the NCAA Tournament. We’re in March and March Madness is a very real thing, so please excuse my homer pick of Notre Dame as the ACC Champion. For real though... they really can do it. Just think about all of those close losses this year, and then you can see a path to that title. It’s all I got right now — so I’m going to own it completely.

Matt and Pat are a little more skeptical with their picks of the Virginia Cavaliers and Duke Blue Devils, and one of them could very well be right. I choose to go all in for what could be the last time we see John Mooney JOHN MUTTON, T.J. Gibbs, and Rex Pflueger on the court. Depending on who you talk to, maybe it’s Mike Brey’s last ride as well.
