How’d We Do Last Week
As mentioned last week, I will feature the Most Interesting, Most Wildly Inaccurate, and Most Accurate Takes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for the previous week. Here we go!

Sad. I feel like Kyle Hamilton could have done it....but alas.....targeting.
Accurate

Shoutout my analysis here. Short of it...always trust Clark Lea’s adjustments. Always.
And now onto the takes between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Syracuse Orange
I thought we’d do something a bit different for the last regular season ACC game ever (probably). It is Senior Day and things are going to get weird, so let’s cut the cold takes and get right into THE HOT SPICY HELLISH TAKES (Hot and Hotter if you will)
Hot Take
Cameron Ekanayake Touchdown

It’s Senior Day. Notre Dame should blow out Cuse. They will want to get this WOPU Nation legend some love. He is clearly a monster as he is a finalist to be a Rhodes Scholar. This is a guy that you give a goal line carry to on Senior Day. This would have been Mick Assaf, but getting Cameron in the end zone is a feel good story we need to end the regular season.
HOTTER Take
Defense Gets 3 Picks and Forces a Fumble

The Defense has been....incredible....in everything other than forcing turnovers. However, I think the flood gates open this week and we see our D-line getting home and forcing some errant throws. I also think Syracuse will be down early and be forced to play catchup, thus throwing the ball a TON. DJ Brown has been in position many times.... and finally gets the monkey off his back and grabs one. I also like one for Nick McCloud and a LB too (please be Bo Bauer) Hopefully this can be a big confidence boost for the defense to get over the hump of forcing these turnovers. To reiterate, this defense has been nearly flawless, and generating turnovers can really make them the elite of elites.
