The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have one of the most iconic uniforms in all of sports — not just college football. We have seen that uniform undergo some minor changes thanks to the world we are living in during the year of our lord, 2020.
The Notre Dame jersey, already tatted with the Under Armour logo on the front left chest, received two new patches for the season. The first was the ACC logo patch as it’s a requirement for Notre Dame’s one year conference membership (which also required ACC on the helmet).
The second was a “RALLY.” patch on the right front shoulder. Because of all of the social justice awareness from this summer’s protests around the country, Notre Dame wanted to share the voices of their student-athletes — and RALLY became the theme.
That meant the Notre Dame uniform had two extra patches on the jersey, plus the already placed Under Armour logo. Notre Dame captains also had a “C” on the front left shoulder of their jersey.
And now... the ACC Championship game patch gets added to it all.

So there it is. The Notre Dame uniform with 5 patches on the front. Of course, this could change two more times with a college football playoff run.
