Notre Dame has the week off — but here’s some college football: Game Thread

Just another strange day of games

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have finished their regular season with a perfect 10-0 record that included a 47-40 victory over then #1 Clemson Tigers, and now we get another week off from college football.

But there’s still college football to be played — even if most of it means absolutely nothing.

Some of the games still scheduled to be played today that I’ll highlight:

This will be the first time since 1943 that Army-Navy will be played at West Point.

It is what it is.

As you sit there today knowing that the Irish will be no less than #2 in the college football playoff if they win the ACC Championship next week, and likely #4 in the college football playoff should they lose the ACC Championship game... please also know that the Notre Dame football program has been REALLY damn good over the last 4 years.

It’s just incredible how different the narrative is now. What’s that? Brendan has something about the narrative? Yes, yes he does:

So, enjoy the day — whatever the day provides for you. Next week the Irish travel to Charlotte to take on the Clemson Tigers for the 2nd time this year, and we also have National Signing Day for the Early Period on Wednesday. It’s going to be L-I-T.

GAME THREAD

The game thread is open below. I know many of us are on Twitter for most of the game, but I encourage you to vent and do other things that require more than 280 characters here.
