Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

Irish fans have mixed feelings about the football and basketball programs. According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, confidence in the football team remains extremely high, while a shaky start to the season has more questions surrounding the basketball team.

After another strong win, this time over Syracuse, a full 100 percent of Notre Dame fans believe the football team is headed in the right direction. This is the fifth consecutive week the response as been that high.

With only the ACC Championship Game left on the season for now, Notre Dame appears poised for a College Football Playoff spot. Fans were asked what team they think should join Alabama, Notre Dame and Clemson.

According to the results, nearly 50 percent of fans around the country believe that team should be Ohio State. No other team received more than 20 percent of the vote.

Unlike the football team, the basketball program has taken a few hits already. For the second time this season, Notre Dame has lost to a Big Ten team, this time it was Ohio State.

After the close loss, confidence in the team dipped to 51 percent, down from 54 percent a week before.

The Irish will have an extremely difficult run through the ACC this season. According to fans nationally, the ACC is the best conference in the country, followed by the Big Ten.
