The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are taking on the North Carolina Tar Heels on Friday, and the weather is a little different this time of year in Chapel Hill as opposed to South Bend. Truth be told... it’s gross that football will be played in November under any type of warmth or sun.
Yep... 68 degrees and partly sunny inside Kenan Memorial Stadium on Friday. I don’t know how Michael Felder ever did it.
It’s a 3:30 game on ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and OFD Twitter RTer Maria Taylor (hug fan). The temps will see a slow decline as the game goes on with the sun setting at 5:05 PM EST.
All jokes (they were kind of jokes) aside, the weather will be gorgeous for the Irish in North Carolina. At least there won’t be any hurricanes coming in to tempt fate with the Irish — although maybe now the Irish have an offense that’s weather proof.
