The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are on the road this week against ACC Fredo foe, the Boston College Eagles. Notre Dame just had its best win in 27 years last week when it topped the Clemson Tigers 47-40 in double overtime. That game was played in some of the more unseasonably warm weather for South Bend during the month of November.
So welcome back fall.
Chestnut Hill (fancy Boston) should provide more of those “autumn vibes” on Saturday — like October vibes. The Irish and BC play at 3:30 PM EST (on ABC), so let’s take a look at what they’ll be dealing with on the field.
Temperatures will peak around 2:00 PM with a high around 51 degrees — although we get the offsetting penalties of extreme sunshine and a fair amount of wind.
When the game kicks off (around 3:41) we will already be diving into the 40s, and with the sun setting at an awesome 4:23 PM... the nip in the air is certainly there.
