Notre Dame Football: Hot and Cold Takes for Irish Vs Louisville

#COOKBOOK

Thx @verypiratey

How’d We Do Last Week

As mentioned last week, I will feature the Most Interesting, Most Wildly Inaccurate, and Most Accurate Takes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from the previous week. Here we go!

Interesting

Shoutout Beefeater coming in 2 weeks in a row. Gotta say it was so timely I that I had to include it. RIP Eddie Van Halen

Wildly Inaccurate

Sorry jcond. Clark Lea’s group was a bit (understandably) sloppy. I don’t expect that this week though.

Accurate

Shoutout Me this week. Kyren Williams finished with 186 total yards and Chris Tyree finished with 157 (when you factor in 54 yards on kick returns). I wasn’t great week 1 and 2, but by God am I glad I responded.

And now onto the takes between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Louisville Cardinals

Cold Take

Ian Book throws for 300+ Yards (sub cold take...I tweet #cookbook no less than 10 times)

Ian Book was sharp last week. Our Stats Writers were hashtagging #letbookcook against FSU and he definitely did. That got me hashtagging #CookBook over and over again, which is now my Ian Book rallying cry, forever. That was the confidence boost he needed and it will carry into this week. He will come out very accurate and hit tons of short/mid range throws. These will turn into big gains as a result of Louisville’s blown coverages and lack of pursuit effort. We will also see his first deep touchdown of the year on a ball that travels 45+ yards. I am fired up to watch him play #COOKBOOK

Hot Take

Big Man Touchdown. I repeat, BIG MAN TOUCHDOWN.

This one is really calling my shot. I think our defensive line and linebackers will get tons of pressure on Malik Cunningham. Clark Lea will dial up the pressures after he faced some criticism last week.....which you know he took personally. With that said, there will be balls on the ground and someone will scoop and score. I would explode if it is Kurt Hinish, but my gut is saying Isaiah Foskey or Adetokunbo Ogundeji.

If Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa was healthy, my bet would be on him....but #neverforget.
