The Notre Dame Fighting Irish shook off a 21 day break from game action to run wild all over the Florida State Seminoles for a 42-26 win in South Bend. The Irish produced two 100 yard rushers in Kyren Williams (185) and Chris Tyree (103) — both of which have freshman eligibility. Overall it was a 300+ performance from Notre Dame and the nation’s best offensive line.
Notre Dame now has the 5th ranked rushing offense in the country at 270.7 yards per game, and quite honestly — it’s a thing of beauty. We knew this offensive line was going to be good with the six returning starters, but through three games they have exceeded expectations as the young backs rack up more and more yardage.
