After eating cheeseburgers for several weeks, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish went out and beat the Florida State Seminoles with a fair amount of ease on Saturday night. Was it good enough for voters to continue to vote highly for the Irish.
It appears so. Both the Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25 have the Irish as the #4 team in the country.

The dominant performance from the Clemson Tigers over the Miami-Florida Hurricanes only cements Dabo’s squad as the best in the country. Notre Dame, of course, will welcome #1 Clemson to South Bend on November 7, while they will have to travel to Chapel Hill to take on the now #5/#6 team in the country with the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Notre Dame’s next three opponents are currently unranked, and Notre Dame has a winning streak over unranked opponents that goes all the way back to 2016. Next up for the Irish this week are the Louisville Cardinals.
