OFD Podcast: New Year Brings Changes to Notre Dame Football

It’s that time of year when players and coaches go elsewhere... probably in a Honda.

Jude Seymour and Brendan McAlinden are joined on the show by UHND’s Greg Flammang to discuss a surprisingly busy week for Notre Dame football, including:

  • Cole Kmet’s decision to leave school early and pursue an NFL career
  • Tony Jones Jr. also declaring for the 2020 NFL Draft
  • Coaching carousel: Todd Lyght’s departure, Harry Hiestand got fired and Greg’s unconventional solution for a new defensive coach (of course it involves Kyle Hamilton)
  • Notre Dame lands Bennett Skowronek, a graduate transfer WR from the Northwestern Wildcats
  • Playoff and bowls talk: Could Notre Dame beat the OklahomaSooners? Can anyone beat the LSU Tigers? Are we rooting for the Clemson Tigers?

Brendan can by found on our site and on Twitter under @verypiratey, while Greg is co-host of the Unitled Notre Dame USC Podcast in addition to his UHND gig. He’s also on Twitter at @greg2126.
