Notre Dame Football: The record has been set straight... it’s Tommy for Rees — NOT Tom

It’s been as big of a debate as age and experience when it comes to the new offensive coordinator for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish... Is it “Tom” or “Tommy” for Rees? It has seemed as if no one really knows what to call REESUS and be respectful to the former Irish QB’s own wishes.

Even Brian Kelly has been part of the misinformation agenda by CONSISTENTLY calling Rees “Tom” in every press conference and press release. Finally, we get some well needed closure on this subject as Mr. Rees released his own statement on Wednesday night:

That should be the end of it, and we can move on together as one with REESUS — I mean, Tommy Rees.
