The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are on their hot dog bye week, but 10 of their 12 opponents are playing games this weekend — and two are playing each other!
The USC Trojans are hosting the Stanford Cardinal at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Saturday in an early season Pac-12 inter-division matchup. Despite USC starting Kedon Slovis, an 18-year true freshman, the Trojans are three point favorites at this point.
The OddsShark computer likes Stanford slightly more than USC, which means the Cardinal will win and cover the spread. The over/under — or total number of points scored by both teams combined — is either 43 or 45, depending on which oddsmaker you choose.
Here are all the kickoff times, dates, TV/streaming options and spreads for Notre Dame’s opponents playing this weekend:

HEISMAN ODDS
Ian Book turned in an underwhelming performance against the Louisville Cardinals, and oddsmakers at the Westgate Sportsbook in Las Vegas responded by making him more of a longshot than before.
Meanwhile, USC’s J.T. Daniels tore multiple ligaments in his knee against the Fresno State Bulldogs and is lost for the season. His odds remain unchanged at 60-to-1.
Perhaps someone can explain this to me.
