There are some changes.

The #9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish welcome the Bowling Green Falcons to South Bend on Saturday for a 2:30 game. Brian Kelly had his press conference today, and they released their new depth chart. There are some changes due to injuries.

OFFENSE

- OR George Takacs - - - - - - OR Fr Chris Tyree -

The offensive depth chart makes much more sense this week with Chris Finke returning to the slot and Michael Young on the outside. Braden Lenzy will back Young up while Joe Wilkins is behind Finke. A lot of this is due to Lawrence Keys III having an undisclosed injury. Despite your misplaced feelings, Ian Book remains the starter at quarterback.

DEFENSE

20 Shaun Crawford 14 Kyle Hamilton 13 Paul Moala 9 Daelin Hayes 41 Kurt Hinish 95 Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa 91 Ade Ogundeji 6 Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah 40 Drew White Tr Isaiah Pryor 28 TaRiq Bracy

9 Cam Hart - - 94 Isaiah Foskey 55 Ja'mion Franklin 90 Hunter Spears 18 NaNa Osafo-Mensah - - - 4 Avery Davis

Injuries to Shaun Crawford and Daelin Hayes has caused some significant changes here. With Hayes no longer available, Justin Ademilola and Ovie Oghoufo will back up Julian Okwara at the Shark — at least on paper. Against Virginia, it was Jamir Jones that relieved Okwara in the game, and I imagine that will be the case moving forward. TaRiq Bracy was listed as an “OR” last week with Shaun Crawford, but now shares the “OR” with Donte Vaughn. There could be a change to the magnificent dime package as well, but we will have to wait until the game to see that for certain.

It was not a good week for Notre Dame special teams, but the one change moving forward is only because of Keys’s injury. Joining Kyren Williams at kick returner will be Joe Wilkins this week.
