2019 Notre Dame Football: Virginia Cavaliers Week

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish look to get back to their winning ways this week against the Virginia Cavaliers, but this might not be the handsome #goacc game we were expecting. Virginia is 4-0 and ranked #18 in the country. Regardless of the outcome in South Bend, the Cavs / Hoos are on a collision course with the Clemson Tigers in the ACC Championship Game.

Virginia would have a chance to do the world a favor by actually winning that game, because Clemson’s schedule is pretty puff.

This was the game 95% of fans pointed to this offseason as the “trap” game for Notre Dame. Considering that Brian Kelly made it a point to talk about Virginia right after the Georgia loss means that he will do everything he can to make sure that doesn’t happen.
