The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have a roster full of players, and we want to talk about them all. One Foot Down’s player profile series will take a look at every single one of them, and hopefully we all learn a little bit more about these guys, and Notre Dame’s chances for the upcoming 2019 season.
Andrew Kristofic, Offensive Line
It is rare that a Freshman offensive lineman will see playing time, even if they did enroll early. Likely to follow this trend, Andrew Kristofic arrived in the Spring standing 6’5 and clocking in at 275lbs. He hails from Pine-Richland high school out of Pennsylvania, a familiar name to Irish fans as he led the way for current Notre Dame Quarterback Phil Jurkovec. He was a consensus 4 star recruit and will look to make gains in the weight room and compete for some time in the Spring.
Taylor Swift, Chicago, Bon Jovi
I picked this one because there is a line that is “pack is heavy”. Kristofic will need to pack on the pounds as hit the weight room hard as he looks towards next Spring/Fall.
Hey Dog Hey
Cane Corso. These are some big bois. I also loved the picture here.

2019 Outlook
This will be a year devoted to eating and training under Matt Balis for Kristofic. After a year in the weight room he can be evaluated to see how he shakes out in the Spring. He should not see much time this year, but could possibly see some mop up duty thanks to the new red shirt rule.
Youtube Hot Fire
Good look to post highlights vs. IMG, who is pretty much a college level program at this point.
