Will the Notre Dame Fighting Irish win more games than the Green Bay Packers?

You can actually bet on that.

With the NCAA serving as a the farm system of choice for the NFL, we often find that college football discussions can end of having a distinct NFL flavor. In fact, there are a lot of fans out there that truly only see college football through the lens of the NFL — which is a damn shame.

At any rate, the two are intertwined and that’s not going to change anytime soon.

What usually doesn’t happen is any type of cross-betting between college football and the NFL. CG Technology Sportsbook changed all of that last month when it posted actual odds on 12 entertaining cross-football 2019 season win total matchups.

Bettors can wager on whether the Patriots (-120) or Alabama (Even) will finish with more regular-season wins, and other matchups include Notre Dame-Packers, Ohio State-Browns, Southern California-49ers, Texas-Cowboys, Louisiana State-Saints, Michigan-Bears and UNLV-Raiders.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Green Bay Packers going head to head here — and the odds say that it’s a pick-em.

The Irish went 12-1 last year with its lone loss coming in the college football playoff, while the Packers went 6-9-1 (yes that is a tie y’all).

So what do you think? Notre Dame won twice as many games last year than Green Bay, but we should expect some improvement by the Packers (hello Dexter Williams) and some regression from the Irish.
