This Guy Plays Notre Dame Football: #55 JaMion Franklin, Defensive Tackle

CANNONBALL!!!

Notre Dame Football

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have a roster full of players, and we want to talk about them all. One Foot Down’s player profile series will take a look at every single one of them, and hopefully we all learn a little bit more about these guys, and Notre Dame’s chances for the upcoming 2019 season.

#55 Ja’Mion Franklin, DT

Ja’Mion is a sophomore that hails from Maryland. He is in his second year with the program. Last season, he did not play or have any in-game impacts. Especially with Jerry Tillery finishing out his Notre Dame career last year, he was the big man at that position. So, with that, Ja,Mion still has all four years of eligibility left.

Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, or Chicago

“Misunderstood” by Bon Jovi

Last year, Joshua claimed that Ja’Mion had a pretty bad cannonball. I’m sure that it was just a slip up, and that we just misunderstood his cannonball and pool tricks skills. Give him another chance.

Hey Dog HEY!

Why? Well Ja’Mion means business and so does this Daschund. Give me a break with these, dog breeds aren’t my exact forte.

2019 Outlook

Ja’Mion will be competing for some time with Kurt Hinish and Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa as well as Jayson Ademilola. Those are some strong guys on the come up at the defensive tackle position, and Ja”Mion is one of them. He could contribute as a platoon, but his lack of game experience could lend to the other guys getting more of the reps.
