Notre Dame Football: All of the bowl options for the Fighting Irish in 2019

Yes indeed this is still June and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are still 87 days away from the season-opener against the Louisville Cardinals — but it’s never too soon to look at the bowl picture. If it was, why would so many people give their win/loss predictions?

We might as well get out in front of this before the November questions come around. Remember, Notre Dame has the same bowl tie-ins as the ACC — except they have a little advantage. The Irish can be selected to play as the ACC team for a bowl as long as they are within one game of the eligible ACC team. So... a 10-2 Notre Dame team could technically be picked for the Orange Bowl over an 11-1 ACC school.
