I know I’m a little late with this news, but it’s still worth posting here for fans of Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball.
Guard, D.J. Harvey put his name in the transfer portal shortly after the season, and although some thought he might still return to Notre Dame next year — there was mutual interest in his departure.
Harvey went on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon and announced he will indeed be transferring to play basketball for the Vanderbilt Commodores (looking at all of our friends at Anchor of Gold).
Coach Stackhouse and the coaching staff at Vanderbilt have something brewing over in Tennessee! Can’t wait to be apart of it... blessed and excited to say that I’ve committed to Vanderbilt University pic.twitter.com/pl6Kni9Uqd

This follows some news that broke about a week ago when Matt Ryan, who transferred to Vanderbilt from Notre Dame already — announced that he was seeking a graduate transfer to the Chattanooga Mocs for his final year of eligibility.

Seriously... what in the hell is going on in Tennessee? Is this some type of strange conspiracy of which there is no actual plot?
I don’t know — sounds like SEC mischief to me.
