Notre Dame Football: Does Brian Kelly STILL want you to “GET THAT CHOCOLATE MILK”?

Just when you think there’s a lack of fun going around while discussing the Notre Dame Fighting Irish — fate slaps you upside the head with a bottle of chocolate milk.

I don’t remember ever seeing this video, and I know that because HOW CAN YOU EVER FORGET THIS VIDEO? Seriously... there are just too many perfect parts to this, and they mostly surround our beloved Brian Kelly.

The video was made for the Notre Dame O.S.C.A.R.S.

The O.S.C.A.R.S. is the marquee social-celebratory event for the Department of Athletics. Created by the Student-Athlete Advisory Council and Student Welfare & Development, the O.S.C.A.R.S. were established to showcase the many accomplishments of Notre Dame student-athletes. The red-carpet gala serves to unite all students, administrators, and faculty involved in Fighting Irish athletics.

I mean... how was anyone shocked that one day less than five months after this video was published, Brian Kelly would forever immortalize himself as the angry coach against the South Florida Bulls?

More importantly: how was anyone that followed Brian Kelly since his days with the Central Michigan Chippewas and Cincinnati Bearcats SHOCKED that he was such a passionate man? Look at the way he coached that girl to get that chocolate milk out of the vending machine. Did we really think he would stay calm after the team shit the bed to start the 2011 season?

For all of the changes that Brian Kelly has made for the Notre Dame football program and for himself, I still wonder how much of this HOT FIRE is still in him. If I had a secret dark wish to be granted, I think it’s that Kelly would go full U MAD BRO BK in a game this year that ends up being a huge win.

Bring the demon out when needed. He’s thirsty, and I still think Kelly wants you to GET THAT CHOCOLATE MILK!
