Miles Boykin, who lit up the NFL Combine among a talented crop of wide receivers, was picked in the third round Friday by the Baltimore Ravens.
Boykin, a 6-foot-4, 220 pound product from Tinley Park, Illinois, was the 93rd overall pick. His four-year rookie contract will be worth $3,376,920, including a $856,920 signing bonus.
Boykin was the 13th wide receiver taken during the 2019 NFL Draft, and the fourth in the third round. He left with one season of eligibility remaining, and reported a second-round grade from the draft advisory committee.
The Ravens already employ two former Notre Dame alums: Bennett Jackson, a defensive back and 2014 graduate and Ronnie Stanley, the team’s starting left tackle. The team just exercised its fifth-year option on the 2016 Notre Dame graduate, which is worth $13 million to Stanley.
The Ravens picked Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver Marquise Brown with their first round pick (25th overall), giving quarterback Lamar Jackson another weapon. They also picked Louisiana Tech’s Jaylon Ferguson, the all-time sack leader in Football Bowl Subdivision history, at No. 85 overall.
