Another Notre Dame powerhouse has announced he will return for the upcoming season.
Irish forward Cam Morrison said today, “At this time I’m excited to announce that I’ll be returning for my senior season and to enjoy one more year with my best friends. I’m committed to getting my degree and I’m ready to get back to work with my teammates and coaches. We still have some unfinished business and our team is ready to put in the work to ensure more success moving forward.”
Morrison scored 11 goals in the 2018-2019 season and was an essential force in the team’s drive toward the Frozen Four this year. He scored the game winning goals of the last two Big Ten Tournament games.

Morrison joins Irish goaltender and soon-to-be senior Cale Morris in moving into the new season and bringing some of the structured talent that brought the successes of 2018-2019. Morris announced his decision to stay with the team for his senior season last Friday. The Irish will start the season under Jeff Jackson’s record-breaking coaching and behind some of the most critical senior leadership. Cam Morrison will be a crucial piece of this combination heading into the next season.
