Welcome to another Bagpipe Monday on One Foot Down! Friends, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish just wrapped up their spring with the annual Blue-Gold Game, which means there is just one event left in the football cycle until fall camp in August — the NFL Draft. That’s three months of “kind of nothing” for us to follow.

Yes, yes... there’s recruiting and all sorts of other small things, but as far as big events directly relating to the team, the NFL Draft ends the 9 month news cycle.
Do you even care about the NFL Draft? Perhaps the new draft schedule (both the late draft date and the way they go about it) has you shaking your head as hard as mine. Maybe you don’t really watch the NFL. Maybe you don’t feel that the NFL Draft really does much for the Irish football program. Maybe you just had enough and ease your way into the MLB and PGA schedule.
We will obviously cover the draft from a Notre Dame perspective and do our best to provide all of you with quality coverage and commentary, but what is your interest level? This is just a normal curiosity of mine, and I’m not trying to make any kind of statement — I want to know.

Besides the poll, please let me know what you are hoping to see in this years draft, and if you want — well shit, you might as well lay your pro allegiances down.
I’m taking notes.
Enjoy the pipes!
