The Notre Dame Fighting Irish got its second addition this month to the 2021 recruiting class when offensive lineman, Greg Crippen announced his commitment to live and play under the Golden Dome.
God, Country, Notre Dame. Play Like a Champion Today.

Crippen is unranked at the moment, but he is also still a sophomore in high school and the process will catch up to him with a rating soon enough. The 6’4” 270 pounder chose the Irish over offers from the Michigan Wolverines, Alabama Crimson Tide, Boston College Eagles, Ohio State Buckeyes, and others.
While technically this is a “Florida recruit” as Crippen lives and plays in the state — he does it for the football factory of IMG. Greg is originally from Milton Massachusetts, and has chosen to help his football career by making the move to Bradenton Florida, where IMG is located.
Greg joins quarterback Tyler Buchner as the other member of the 2021 class. It’s still far too early to know how the 2021 class may take shape. After all, the Irish are only 5 commitments into the 2020 cycle. Still, a big and athletic offensive lineman from a place like IMG is reason to celebrate, and it will continue to strengthen the football program as a whole.
