The Notre Dame Fighting Irish won the Big 10 Tournament on Saturday night by beating the Penn State Nittany Lions 3-2 inside a raucous Compton Family Ice Arena. The Irish definitely needed the auto bid that comes with winning the conference tournament to make the 16 team NCAA Tournament — and did so in spectacular fashion.
Now we eagerly look forward to NCAA Tourney, and a possible run to the Frozen Four. On Sunday, the NCAA released the full bracket for the Tournament. The Irish got a 3 seed in the Northeast region and will play the 2 seed in the region, the Clarkson Golden Knights.
Notre Dame vs Clarkson will take place on Friday @ 6:30 EST from Manchester, New Hampshire. The game will be televised on ESPNU. If the Irish win, they will play the winner of UMass and Harvard on Saturday @ 6:30 EST — also televised on ESPNU.
One Foot Down will have more coverage on this game later this week. If you need a printable bracket for the tournament FOLLOW THIS LINK.
