“Hesburgh” the movie is set to hit theaters on April 26th

Something more than just a bio-pic.

University of Notre Dame Archive

There have been quite a few movies made about the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but none (even Rudy) have come close to being as powerful as what the new Hesburgh movie looks like it will be.

The movie, obviously, will tell the incredible story of Father Theodore Hesburgh — as daunting as it may seem. Father Ted’s extraordinary life centers around his time as the President of Notre Dame between 1952 and 1987. He was once labeled as the most influential man in America at one point, and had the ears of presidents, popes, and other world leaders. He was a man — not just for the people, but for all humankind. He worked with people from all walks of life and made friends with people on both ends of the political spectrum because of his devotion to God, Country, and Notre Dame.

If you ever wondered what really made Notre Dame the special place it is today, you shouldn’t look any father than Father Ted.

The movie will open in theaters on April 26th, and I highly recommend you take the time to go and watch it on the big screen.
