The Notre Dame Fighting Irish absolutely have to recruit throughout the entire country to fill a roster full of players to compete at the highest level. It’s a much different way of recruiting than any other big-time program in the country has to endure outside of maybe Stanford.
This cycle has been no different as the Irish hit up 17 states to fill its 23 man recruiting class (Foskey will commit here in just a bit). Notre Dame’s totals are:
- Georgia 3
- California 2
- Texas 2
- New Jersey 2
- Virginia 2
- Missouri
- Maryland
- Kentucky
- North Carolina
- Indiana
- Ohio
- Alabama
- Pennsylvania
- Minnesota
- Illinois
- Connecticut
- Hawaii
That’s right... the Irish went from Connecticut to Hawaii to fill this class, and it’s truly a remarkable feat that they have to do every single year.
Below is the interactive recruiting map that includes every commitment of the Brian Kelly era. Have fun.
