There weren’t many former Notre Dame Fighting Irish players in the Super Bowl this year between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams, but Brady Quinn made a bit of a splash.
Quinn, also a former Cleveland Browns quarterback, hooked up with another player from Cleveland, Jarvis Landry to try and set a new world record for “one-handed American football catches in one minute.”
As SB Nations Browns site, Dawgs By Nature said:
With the game not kicking off until 6:30 p.m., the various networks feel the need to show hours and hours of pregame coverage, most of it of a dubious nature.
So... here we are. A former Domer and former star for the LSU Tigers hook up to overcome the stigma of being a Browns player — and made some history.
JARVIS LANDRY IS A NEW WORLD RECORD HOLDER!
