The Notre Dame Fighting Irish hockey team got a big win Saturday night against the Wisconsin Badgers inside Compton Ice Arena. Notre Dame lost to the Badgers, 2-1, on Friday as they were pretty much owned by the Badger goaltender, Daniel Lebedeff.
That certainly wasn’t the case in game 2 as the Irish attacked the net and beat Wisconsin, 5-2. The win kept the Irish in 3rd place in the Big 10, just 2 points behind the Minnesota Golden Gophers (which have played 2 more conference games).
It was a much needed win and 3 points for the Irish, so roll that beautiful highlight footage!
