One by one, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will add new members to its football family today during the early signing period for the 2020 recruiting class. Rather than beat the site down with a profile piece after each recruits sends in their NLI, we simply offer this recruiting tracker for the day. OFD will offer plenty of other recruiting news and stories all day long as we fist pump our way to another really good class for the Irish.
New NLI’s will be registered here via a tweet, and marked off on the commitment list. Check back throughout the day to stay up to date. The recruit’s name’s are links to their past commitment posts here on OFD.
Alexander Ehrensberger DE
Ehrensberger is the first one in this class to see 7 AM on Wednesday, and he delivered his NLI from Germany right away.

Kevin Bauman TE
Bauman has been committed to the Irish since June of 2018. That’s a long time to wait — especially when it’s to play for Tight End U.

Chris Tyree RB
Chris has been the fastest high school football player in the country for the past two years. He brings an explosiveness that is desperately needed in South Bend. The NLI makes it official... EXHALE!

Michael Carmody OL
The Carmody name is becoming very familiar in South Bend. With his older brother already playing basketball for the Irish, Michael committed to Notre Dame on Father’s Day.

Landen Bartleson DB
One of the more underrated recruits in this class, Bartleson is a tremendous athlete that will start on the defensive side — but could play running back as well. The upside with this Kentucky kid is really nice.

Jay Brunelle WR
Just a 3Star from Massachusetts? Y’all need to wake up and see Brunelle hoping over your heads — literally. Brunelle is a tremendous athlete that will fit right in at Notre Dame and within this offense.

Michael Mayer TE
Another one for TEU, Michael Mayer SHOULD be a 5-Star player after his dominating performances at the camps — but somehow he just didn’t get ranked high enough by the “experts.” Forget all that noise — he’s an ELITE talent.

Alex Peitsch LS
When you’re one of the best tight ends long snappers in the country — you go to Tight End U Long Snapper U. This is a future Mannelly Award winner y’all!

Drew Pyne QB
Pyne was the first commitment in this 2020 class, and from the start — he has proven himself to be a leader. Pyne will be challenged in South Bend, but he appears to be up for it.

Clarence Lewis CB
Notre Dame really needed some defensive backs in this class, and they got a tough Jersey kid when Lewis committed. At 6’1” he’s another one of those “lengthy” kids. He’ll have an opportunity to show what he can do right away.

Xavier Watts WR
Watts is an explosive athlete from the middle of the country that will instantly add more speed to the Notre Dame football team. Xavier is a major danger anytime he has the ball in his hands. You might say... he’s electric (you know you want to giggle at that).

Caleb Offord CB
Offord is the first Notre Dame football recruit from the state of Mississippi since they pulled Jarious Jackson out of Tupelo in the mid 90s. Offord provides a lot of help at a position of need, and could be the best of the entire bunch.

Rylie Mills DL
Rylie Mills comes from the same high school as the LEGENDARY Tommy Rees. That already gives him a leg up on life, and his natural size and skill take care of the rest. Also... he breaks desks. COOL!

— Notre Dame Football (@NDFootball) December 18, 2019
Aiden Keanaaina DL
Polynesian blood thrives in South Bend. This big guy from Colorado is an all-in for the Irish and will look to make a name for himself within Notre Dame’s own Ohana. One of my favorite recruits from this class!

Jordan Johnson WR
Johnson is true 5-Star and dynamic playmaker on the outside. Maybe he committed a little too early because Irish fans aren’t talking enough about this incredible pick-up for Notre Dame. Can he play right away? He will get a bonafide chance — and I love it.

— Notre Dame Football (@NDFootball) December 18, 2019
Tosh Baker OL
Baker is another of Notre Dame’s commitments that is more like a 5-Star player. His incredible athleticism is what sets him apart from other lineman in this class (and he’s a big fella). Going into Arizona is never easy, but the Irish did a great job.

Jordan Botelho DE
The final NLI from the current commit list is finally in. Botelho played linebacker for St. Louis HS in Hawaii, but will start out as a DE for the Irish. Polian said Jordan is a VIOLENT football player — and that just has me all kinds of giddy.
