The regular season has concluded for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish after their latest victory over the Stanford Cardinal. They finish up at 10-2 while some other teams still have their conference championship games to play. For their efforts, the Irish rise a spot in the week 15 AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Let’s look at how both polls shook out.

The Alabama Crimson Tide’s loss to the Auburn Tigers drops them from the top five and eliminates them from playoff contention. The Utah Utes and Oklahoma Sooners now sit just outside the top four with their conference championship games still to play. The Michigan Wolverines fall outside of the top ten in both polls thanks to a loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The USC Trojans and Navy Midshipmen remain in the top 25 following convincing wins as well.
Not much left to do for the Irish at this point except wait to hear which bowl game will host them.
