The Notre Dame Fighting Irish head down to Tobacco Road to take on the Duke Blue Devils in the cozy confines of Wallace Wade Stadium (noted by Irish Illustrated’s Tim O’Malley as a hole in the ground that can be used as a football field — or something to that effect).

I know there is the usual apprehension bout a Notre Dame road game in November... but how about a Notre Dame road game in 2019? The Irish haven’t had many opportunities to play on the road this year, and have a 1-2 record to show for it.
Notre Dame’s lone away game victory was on Labor Day against the Louisville Cardinals in the first game of the season. Since then, the Irish lost a close one in Athens to the Georgia Bulldogs, and got their butts and a puddle jumper handed to them in Ann Arbor via the Michigan Wolverines.
For Notre Dame to make a New Years Six bowl game, they have to win out (along with other things out of their control). Winning out means going on the road and taking care of business. The Irish are a much more talented football team than Duke, and that needs to be put on display like a trophy wife tonight on the ACC Network. Make those cowards praise you for 3 hours.
The game thread is open below. I know many of us are on Twitter for most of the game, but I encourage you to vent and do other things that require more than 280 characters here.
