The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are having their way with the Navy Midshipmen right now, and after one half of football, they hold a 38-3 lead.
The Notre Dame defense has forced two turnovers to help this blowout-in-progress. Khalid Kareem forced two fumbles and Asmar Bilal and Jamir Jones have one fumble recovery each. A third fumble was just a drop from Navy QB Malcom Perry, and Drew White fell on it.
It’s been Chase Claypool, however, that has done the most dame to the Middies. Claypool has 6 receptions for 97 yards and three touchdowns. The Canadian superstar is absolutely too much athlete for Navy to handle and Notre Dame has exploited that brilliantly.
